News: September 2005: 013 UNKNOWN JAM TILBURG, The Netherlands. By Jesse & James

A couple of months ago we decided that it was time to organise a good jam in Tilburg for the flatlanders from Holland.

After getting some stuff worked out, we were ready to set it off. Paul’s boutique and Soulcycle were willing to help us out with some prices so it was pretty easy to put up a small best link contest. The contest turned out to be really cool with the best flatriders from Holland and Belgium showing up.

We really wanted to create a good vibe at this jam and I think that we succeeded in doing that by not taking things too seriously. In the end Bram Verhallen showed everybody why he is the talent of the moment and won the contest, with some really hard links with whiplashes and other weird switches. Sytse Winkel came in second place with some cool and original stuff. Alexis Bracke came in third place. He also did some cool stuff like a no handed teakettle and tomahawks on the frame.

In the Expert class David Linsden won with some hard tricks like backpacker and a spin on the handlebars.

The funny thing about this jam was the fact that everybody kept on riding even when we were done cleaning up the place and were ready to go home.

I want to say thanks to all the riders who showed up to support our jam and to Paul’s Boutique and Soulcycle for donating the prices.
