Four world-class finals left fans with something very special to remember as the the 11th edition of the KIA X Games Asia came to a close on Sunday. The four-day event registered the best spectator attendance in the event's history, with a record number of 54,500 fans at Shanghai's KIC Jiangwan Sports Center. Visitors were treated to a sensational back-to-back showpiece that featured top action sports athletes in three sport categories - the Skateboard Vert, BMX Street, Aggressive In-line Street and Aggressive In-line Vert finals.
"This is the most successful KIA X Games to date and we are excited to see how big the event has become here in China ," said Harvey Davis, vice president ESPN Star Sports. "We would like to thank the athletes, fans, sponsors and the people of Shanghai for helping to make this possible. And we are looking forward to coming back next year to continue building on this year's success."
BMX Street final Day four of competition concluded with the BMX Street final in which the United States’ Garrett Reynolds won his second straight X Games Asia gold, beating out Spain’s Sergio Layos for the second year in a row.
