FAT Friday: FAT FRIDAY week 46

We almost didn't make it to this week's FAT Friday either. A week ago the computer decided to burn. The damn thing did not want to start up anymore. It died without warning and if you've been in the same situation you know how much that sucks. A new one is on order and the computer guy said that the files on the old one are saved, let's hope so. All week it's been a bit of a struggle to get you the news on FATBMX, working on a different computer is just not the same. But here's what happened this week.

-Mirraco has got a new site up. Check one-two.

-The X-Games contest in Dubai might be postponed. Not definites yet but before you want to book a ticket to attend the richest weekend in BMX, just hold on.

-Free Agent picked up a new distributor in the UK.

-If you think you can drive, check out this movie of Ken Block. We wonder how his moustache is growing.



-So has VANS, Subrosa, VinylBMX, Federal and HARO.

-United Bike Co have their 2009 product added to their website. Good stuff.

-Autumn is here and also the next fresh issue of virtual magazine LOVEBMX. There are lot of cool stuff and some of texts are in english. -SOULBMX.tv just finished their first major update to their site and it’s up and runnning. Apart from adding some new features they have completely revamped their media player. Go pay them a visit.

-By Mislav Streicher: Zion Bikes team member Jurica Barac, recently got branded by Red Bull and sent some pics of his first session with RB helmet. It is a huge step up for him and he really really deserved it. Red Bull has been a friend of Zion team from day one and they always supported us in so many ways.

-The Writing On The Wall Nike 6.0 video has a promotional circus built all around it. And we're part of it. From 10:00 PM PST on Nov 22nd through 10:00 AM Monday, Nov 24th. the following sites will have the following rider parts:

We're going to give away a Mirraco Chocolate frame and some Nike Mavrk shoes in a competiton on the FATBMX site next week too. Well worth the try.

-The Stoppelcross season has started. BMX-ers with a dirt bike get together for the corn field races. Next stop: Odiliapeel (this Sunday). Last stop: Volkel (next week). Get that bike out of the shed and crank it up.
