Race: Orange BMX squad goes Dutch! Signs with Meybo Bikes

After many years racing on Redline bicycles, the national Dutch BMX racing team will make the move to Meybo bikes at the beginning of 2013. The contract will go till after the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Says Dutch BMX coach Bas de Bever: "The advantage over the Redline bikes will be that each and every racer on the team will be able to get a bike custom made to their likings. This will automatically help with the process of becoming a better and faster rider, something we're always looking into." The Dutch BMX racing team currently exists of a.o. the

following Olympians: Jelle van Gorkom, Raymon van der Biezen, Twan van Gendt, and Laura Smulders.
