Presenting the Dawn, TSG launches a new skate, bike and BMX helmet to pay tribute to the infamous skate feel of the 70s. Launching the new Dawn, TSG is entering the market with a helmet reminiscent of the roots of skateboarding and the style of the good old days. Back in the 70s, Full cut helmets with ear protection were the most common, and they are still very popular today. However, they do not meet today’s safety standards for head protection equipment. The new Dawn is the perfect blend of retro styling and state-of-the-art helmet technology. The shell comes with pulled-down earlaps (produced all of a piece) to make for the unique design, while the construction involves a tried and tested hardshell made from durable PP synthetics and shock-absorbing EPS foam.
The product fulfils all European and US-American safety regulations, meaning that the Dawn is the world’s first certified retro helmet (CE EN 1078 und CPSC).
TSG’s standard features in the mid-range price segment include inner ventilation channels for penetrating air to circulate within the helmet, and high-quality welded, washable inner pads. The earlaps accommodate 3 holes for ventilation and better hearing to enable fresh air and noises to enter the helmet with ease.
The Dawn is available in flat black from spring 2013.
