The Kyoto International Center will be hosting the Red Bull Circle of Balance on September 8th, 2012. Tickets will be available internationally from June 16th 2012. BMX originally started by riding bicycles off-road. Next to racing around a track, riders soon started to do tricks on their bikes. That’s how BMX-Freestyle was born. There are various categories in BMX-Freestyle, and one of them is called "BMX-Flatland".

The very first Red Bull Circle of Balance was held at Oberhausen, Germany with 18 top riders from all over the world. Its unique 1 vs. 1 competition brought a unique innovation to the BMX-Flatland scene. Its high quality and size of the event immediately made the Red Bull Circle of Balance the top BMX-Flatland competition on the planet. With Ryoji Yamamoto winning the premier in Oberhausen in 2004 and Japan hosting the 2007 event demonstrated the level of Japanese riders and Japan’s commitment to the scene. This year, Japan will be hosting the Red Bull Circle of Balance once again on

 September the 8th.
